A series of hand-drawn animated stories for Ourocard, Banco do Brasil's card brand — everyday little dramas doodled in ink, yellow and blue, straight out of a notebook. I brought the sketches to life as the 2D animator of the series.

Ep. 4 — innovation over WhatsApp
Each episode is a tiny everyday drama drawn in loose ink lines on notebook paper, with Banco do Brasil's yellow and blue as the only colors. The style looks effortless — which is exactly what makes it tricky to animate.
Hand-drawn characters can't move like rigged puppets, or the illusion breaks. I animated gestures, takes and lip-sync so every movement keeps that sketchy, imperfect energy — as if the doodle itself decided to act.
Vertical 9:16, captions always on, and pacing tuned for social: a hook in the first seconds, a punchline, and the Ourocard resolution — before anyone's thumb gets impatient.
This started as a team passion project — riding the wave of narrated cartoon storytelling — and was never published as a series.
The client liked the look so much they adopted it for a nationwide internal campaign. Part of the prize: the winning employee got her own story illustrated and animated in this exact style, published on the bank's internal channel.
